POSITION: Assistant Academic Officer

NATURE: Full-time

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Downloading materials
  • Breaking down materials
  • Setting assignments, assessment, and exam questions and answers
  • Supervise 3 students every semester
  • Involvement in events organized by the institution

You are expected to download and break down a minimum of one complete B.Sc course, every month; this is also equivalent to 4 complete Masters courses or 2  complete Ph.D. courses. You are also expected to supervise a minimum of 3 students every semester.

For further analysis:

1BSc course – 4 sessions = 8 semesters

1Masters course -1 session = 2 semesters

1Ph.D course -2 sessions = 4 semesters

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or associate’s degree.
  • Experience as an office assistant or in a related field.
  • Ability to write clearly and help with word processing when necessary.
  • Warm personality with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment
